It has two runways, namely Runway 1 or Runway 03/21, which has an Instrument Landing System (ILS) and Runway 2 or Runway 15/33.
For passengers arriving at the Mombasa Airport who are over one year old and coming from countries infected by yellow fever, such as Central and West Africa, Southeast Asia, Central and South America, Bangladesh, Nepal, India and Sri Lanka, yellow fever vaccination certificates are required. These certificates are only valid 10 days from vaccination. Upon arrival at the airport, arrival forms must already be filled up before proceeding to the passport control area. For international arrivals, go to the Main Lobby where a customer service desk for taxis can be found, as well as car hire services. There are also public buses, which cost 40 Kenya Shillings and leave after every half hour. It takes passengers to and from the center of the city.
