Grenoble-Isère Airport Guide
Aéroport de Grenoble-Isère, or the Grenoble-Isere Airport, is located in Grenoble southeastern France, and is the closest airport to the French Alps. It serves several million tourists every year who are travelling to nearby ski resorts. The airport has recently upgraded its facilities, now able to provide basic services to their clients, including dining and shopping.
Dining at the airport
At the mezzanine of the airport is the new Restofly Restaurant. It is both a restaurant and a lounge bar and is usually open around lunch. They serve a variety of meals including salads, burgers, pasta, risottos, as well as the traditional Alpine dishes. For those who want to have a quick fix, there’s a bar area that serves sandwiches and desserts. Aside from this restaurant, the ground floor also has a snack bar that offers sandwiches and beverages.
Grenoble-Isere Airport has a newly renovated Duty Free shopping center. Enjoy great 20% discount, tax free shopping on Duty Free items. They have a variety of items including food, tobacco, perfume, clothes, household items, appliances, alcoholic beverages and cosmetics. Duty Free is a great place for last minute shopping. Aside from this, there is also a gift shop that sells souvenirs, bags, hats, snow globes, and some local delicacies such as walnuts and Chartreuse.
