Hurghada International airport, coded as HRG is located about five kilometers from downtown Hurghada, Egypt. It is one of the main airports in the country that serves both domestic and international flights. Hurghada airport only has one terminal but can accommodate seven million to eight million passengers per year. Also, the airport is newly renovated to improve their facilities and passenger services.
The newly renovated Hurghada airport has a duty free shop that sells imported liquor, tobacco, chocolates etc. Aside from that, other shops like souvenir stalls and retail outlets are now also present in the area. Also, cafes, bars and restaurants are also present that serves national and European cuisines. The airport also has luggage storage facilities and lost and found services.
