Amman Queen Alia International Airport mainly provides service to the capital, Amman. This Jordan Airport is the largest in Jordan. It is in the process of expansion wherein a new terminal will be added, target date of completion is December 2012. There are information desks at Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 arrivals areas.
The airport is easily accessible to buses. There is a 24-hour service that offers transport to and from the airport and Amman. Buses leave every hour. Taxi cabs are on hand just outside the arrivals area.
ATMs, banks and currency exchange agents are available in both terminals. There are public telephones positioned at the terminals. Paid Wi-Fi access is also provided for the two terminals. A post office can be found at Terminal 1 on the ground floor.
Cafes, restaurants, and fast food chains can be found in the two terminals. Duty-free shops are also provided. There are souvenir outlets, bookshops, gift shops, and specialist food stores as well.
