There are several airports within the vicinity of the city but this is the main one where majority of flights pass through. The entire operation is managed by Kubair Airlines which also utilizes the area as their own hub.
List of Airlines and Guidelines for Arrivals and Departures
Since Krasnodar airport is an International airstrip, numerous flights are accommodated in the establishment. Upon arrival and you are on a transfer flight, it would be best to ask assistance from the ground personnel from your respective airline in order to avoid any confusion. As for those that arrived at their destination, follow your airline's instructions with regards to where your check-in luggage can be collected.
For departures, check-in should be done at least an hour or two prior to your flight. Boarding is done at least 30 to 45 minutes prior to the flight schedule.
Lounges and Other Hang-outs
For international flights, there are no waiting facilities available. So if you happen to be on that transfer flight that would be leaving an hour or more later, you can head over to the adjacent domestic wing of the airport. The domestic wing of the airport is home to numerous facilities that are open all night long.
A popular place that most travelers recommend is the Pizzeria "Bella Napoli" which is open even at the wee hours of the morning. It is perfect for travelers that need to stay overnight in the airport to avoid the added expense of checking into an airport hotel. Storage lockers are also available for lease at the nearby bus stop which is a stone's throw away from the airport exit.
Other Basic Facilities
If you need to make a quick withdraw for some pocket money, there are several ATM's around that can address that concern. As for transportation outside of the airport, you can choose from private car rentals, taxis and buses. Being an international airport, the Krasnodar airport is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
