The Yelizovo Airport is located in the city of Petroparlovsk – Komchatsky, in the region of Kamchatka Krai in Russia. This public airport provides regional and domestic passenger services to the residents of the city and its neighboring areas.

The airport was established and built in 1948, right after the World War II but only started its operations of regular flights in 1958. It was in 1995 that the airport started to have international destinations.
The Yelizovo Airport has a runway 3,400 meters long, which can accommodate a fully loaded Boeing 747 and an IIyushin 11-96. In April of 2012, reconstructions and expansions occurred at the airport to expand the runway to better handle larger planes.

There’s also a hotel inside the airport, with single and double room occupancies, which are accompanied by free breakfast meals. In the hotel are a snack bar, hairdressing salon, a pool and a luggage room.
